Eight Months Later, Hoosiers Are Paying the Price for the Victoria Spartz-Backed War in Iran

Spartz voted 6 times to back the war

Yesterday marked eight months since Donald Trump, backed by Victoria Spartz, pulled Hoosiers into a reckless war of choice in Iran with no end in sight. As families pay nearly $4/gal to fill up the tank and watch prices soar on groceries and everyday goods, Spartz is still backing the war.

American’s confidence in the economy is “in a tailspin,” with consumer confidence at a lower point than during the Great Recession.

The Spartz-backed war in Iran has cost Hoosiers an average $427 per household.

REMINDER: Trump said the war in Iran would be over in a matter of weeks, but after eight months, $47 billion in military spending, and more than $100 billion in excess consumer spending on fuel alone, the war is no closer to ending than when it started.

DCCC Spokesperson Madison Andrus:
“Victoria Spartz broke her promise to Hoosiers to lower costs, rubber-stamping Trump’s reckless war of choice in Iran that’s raising prices everywhere from the gas station to the grocery store. Indiana families are sick of this endless war, and Spartz’s broken promises are going to cost her.”
