| Today marks eight months since Donald Trump, backed by Ann Wagner, pulled Missourians into a reckless war of choice in Iran with no end in sight. As families pay $3.90/gal to fill up the tank and watch prices soar on groceries and everyday goods, Wagner continues to throw her constituents under the bus.
Americans’ confidence in the economy is “in a tailspin,” with consumer confidence at a lower point than during the Great Recession.
The Wagner-backed war in Iran has cost Missourians an average $688 per household.
REMINDER: Trump said the war in Iran would be over in a matter of weeks, but after eight months, $47 billion in military spending, and more than $100 billion in excess consumer spending on fuel alone, the war is no closer to ending than when it started.
DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Ann Wagner broke her promise to Missourians to lower costs, rubber-stamping Trump’s reckless war of choice in Iran and raising prices everywhere from the gas station to the grocery store. Missourians are sick of this endless war, and Wagner’s broken promises are going to cost her her job.” |
