| Today marks eight months since Donald Trump, backed by Aaron Flint, pulled Montanans into a reckless war of choice in Iran with no end in sight. Despite families paying $4.38/gal to fill up the tank and watching prices soar on groceries and everyday goods, Flint continues to throw his support behind the war.
Americans’ confidence in the economy is “in a tailspin,” with consumer confidence at a lower point than during the Great Recession.
The Flint-backed war in Iran has cost Montanans an average $838 per household.
REMINDER: Trump said the war in Iran would be over in a matter of weeks, but after eight months, $47 billion in military spending, and more than $100 billion in excess consumer spending on fuel alone, the war is no closer to ending than when it started.
DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Aaron Flint broke his promise to Montanans to lower costs, rubber-stamping Trump’s reckless war of choice in Iran and raising prices everywhere from the gas station to the grocery store. Montana families are sick of this endless war, and Flint’s broken promises are going to cost him.” |
