| Yesterday marked eight months since Donald Trump, backed by Brinker Harding, pulled Nebraskans into a reckless war of choice in Iran with no end in sight. Despite families paying $4.26/gal to fill up the tank and watching prices soar on groceries and everyday goods, Harding continues to support the war in Iran.
American’s confidence in the economy is “in a tailspin,” with consumer confidence at a lower point than during the Great Recession.
The Harding-backed war in Iran has cost Nebraskans an average $616 per household.
REMINDER: Trump said the war in Iran would be over in a matter of weeks, but after eight months, $47 billion in military spending, and more than $100 billion in excess consumer spending on fuel alone, the war is no closer to ending than when it started.
DCCC Spokesperson Madison Andrus:
“Brinker Harding is running to be a rubber stamp for Trump’s reckless war of choice in Iran, which is raising prices everywhere from the gas station to the grocery store. Nebraskans are sick of this endless war, and Harding’s extreme agenda is going to cost him this election.” |
