| Today marks eight months since Donald Trump, backed by Carrie Buck, David Flippo, Marty O’Donnell, and Cody Whipple, pulled Nevadans into a reckless war of choice in Iran with no end in sight. As families pay $5.27/gal to fill up the tank and watch prices soar on groceries and everyday goods, Buck, Flippo, O’Donnell, and Whipple continue to side with their D.C. party bosses over hardworking Nevadans.
Americans’ confidence in the economy is “in a tailspin,” with consumer confidence at a lower point than during the Great Recession.
The Buck, Flippo, O’Donnell, and Whipple-backed war in Iran has cost Nevadans an average of more than $600 per household.
REMINDER: Trump said the war in Iran would be over in a matter of weeks, but after eight months, $47 billion in military spending, and more than $100 billion in excess consumer spending on fuel alone, the war is no closer to ending than when it started.
DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Carrie Buck, David Flippo, Marty O’Donnell, and Cody Whipple broke their promise to Nevadans to lower costs, rubber-stamping Trump’s reckless war of choice in Iran and raising prices everywhere from the gas station to the grocery store. Nevada families are sick of this endless war, and Buck, Flippo, O’Donnell, and Whipple’s broken promises are going to cost them.” |
