Today marks eight months since Donald Trump and Nick LaLota pulled New Yorkers into a reckless war of choice in Iran with no end in sight. As families pay $4.37/gal to fill up the tank and watch prices soar on groceries and everyday goods, LaLota continues to throw their constituents under the bus.
American’s confidence in the economy is “in a tailspin,” with consumer confidence at a lower point than during the Great Recession.
The LaLota-backed war in Iran has cost Long Island families over $400 more on average per household.
DCCC Spokesperson Riya Vashi: “Nick LaLota broke his promise to New Yorkers to lower costs, rubber-stamping Trump’s reckless war of choice in Iran and raising prices everywhere from the gas station to the grocery store. Long Island families are sick of this endless war, and LaLota’s broken promises are going to cost him his job.”
