Eight Months Later, Northeast Ohioans Are Paying the Price for the Max Miller-Backed War in Iran

Miller voted SIX times to back the war

Today marks eight months since Donald Trump and Max Miller pulled Ohioans into a reckless war of choice in Iran with no end in sight. As families pay $4.32/gal to fill up the tank and watch prices soar on groceries and everyday goods, Miller continues to throw their constituents under the bus.

Americans’ confidence in the economy is “in a tailspin,” with consumer confidence at a lower point than during the Great Recession.

The Miller-backed war in Iran has cost Ohioans more than $580 more on average per household.

REMINDER: Trump said the war in Iran would be over in a matter of weeks, but after eight months, $47 billion in military spending, and more than $100 billion in excess consumer spending on fuel alone, the war is no closer to ending than when it started.

DCCC Spokesperson Riya Vashi:
“Max Miller broke his promise to Northeast Ohioans to lower costs, rubber-stamping Trump’s reckless war of choice in Iran and raising prices everywhere from the gas station to the grocery store. Ohio families are sick of this endless war, and Miller’s broken promises are going to cost him his job.”
