Eli Crane Votes For Higher Health Care Costs for Arizonans

Crane votes to block ACA tax credits and allow premium costs to keep rising

As health care costs continue to skyrocket thanks to House Republicans letting ACA tax credits expire, Eli Crane seems to have no problem making life even more expensive for Arizonans if that means his billionaire buddies get a tax break.

Crane just voted against a bipartisan effort to extend ACA tax credits for three years. Yesterday, Crane even tried – and failed – to block the proposal from coming to the floor for a vote. Last year, Crane declined to extend the ACA tax credits in favor of permanent tax breaks for billionaires.

The DCCC will continue holding Crane accountable for his long record of attacking affordable health care and breaking his promise to lower costs for Arizonans, including:

DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Today’s vote is another cruel reminder that Eli Crane doesn’t care about Arizonans struggling to keep up with skyrocketing health care bills and is instead actively working to raise costs. Voters will remember Crane’s betrayal at the ballot box.”
