Eli Crane Wants to Spike Health Care Costs by 416%

Yes, you read that right.

Vulnerable Republican Congressman Eli Crane just proposed a new health care “plan” that would spike health care costs in his district by a staggering 416%, on average, for a 60-year-old couple making $85,000 a year.

That’s an extra $2,505 a month.

According to Breitbart, Crane is pushing to end the ACA tax credits that have put health care within reach for more than 42,000 of his own constituents:

This isn’t the first time that Crane – a millionaire who lives in a wealthy Tucson suburb an hour outside of his district – has tried to rip away Arizonans’ health care. Over the summer, Crane cast a key vote to kick over 27,000 of his own constituents off Medicaid and put at least three hospitals in his predominantly rural district at risk.

DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Eli Crane is completely out of touch. Instead of fighting to lower costs, Crane is actively pushing an agenda that would hike Arizonans’ health care premiums by tens of thousands of dollars a year. Crane’s plan is a slap in the face to hardworking Arizonans, and voters will hold him accountable.”
