| As Jay Feely and Juan Ciscomani’s loyalty to Donald Trump and his cost-hiking agenda continue to sink their election chances, they’re calling in their favorite trillionaire to bail them out.
According to new reporting, Elon Musk is pouring more than $1 million into Arizona’s 1st and 6th districts to try and save Feely and Ciscomani’s doomed campaigns. The funding comes after Feely and Ciscomani both backed health care and SNAP cuts to pay for permanent tax breaks for billionaires and trillionaires like Musk.
Ciscomani was an especially staunch supporter of Elon Musk’s cuts to veterans’ health care, even saying he was “thrilled” to work with DOGE – a saga that led to a retired Army officer resigning from Ciscomani’s veterans advisory council. Because of Ciscomani, Southern Arizona veterans face longer wait times and may have to travel out of state to get the care they need.
While Feely and Ciscomani are happy taking daddy’s money, working Arizonans aren’t so pleased. Voters in Arizona are calling out Feely and Ciscomani for bringing “outsiders like Musk… [into] local politics.”
DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Jay Feely and Juan Ciscomani sold themselves out to the ultrawealthy while working Arizonans struggle to make ends meet. Elon Musk, Feely, and Ciscomani can try to buy elections all they want, but no amount of cash can cover up their broken promises to Arizonans.” |
