House Republicans have bowed to Elon Musk and his disastrous crusade to dismantle Social Security as we know it.
According to new reporting from the Washington Post, Social Security is breaking down: 12% of the staff at the Social Security Administration have been laid off, the website has crashed four times in the last 10 days, and phone service is failing.
Trump’s pick to run the SSA has admitted Musk and DOGE are really in charge. Billionaires like Howard Lutnick are openly warning seniors of missed payments and offices servicing hundreds of thousands of recipients—like the one in White Plains, New York—are closing.
Where are Speaker Johnson and the so-called moderate House Republicans?
