EMMER VS TRUMP: New DCCC Ad Campaign Highlights NRCC’s Growing Battle with Trump

As the former president issues calls for Republican voters to sit out the 2022 midterm elections, the DCCC is launching its latest ad campaign, “Not Invited,” highlighting NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer’s and House Republicans’ growing frustration with President Trump.

And to make sure the two GOP extremist ringleaders see, the DCCC is hitting Emmer and Trump with TV ads in their hometowns of Delano, MN and Palm Beach, FL, and with billboards in Florida spotlighting their feud.

For months, Tom Emmer and the NRCC have been privately voicing frustration with Trump’s antics, but are too afraid to speak up publicly against his false claims about a rigged election. Now, after attempting to belittle Trump’s threat as those from a “private citizen”, and warning that Trump’s involvement with the GOP’s hostile primaries were “not gonna be helpful”, the DCCC is making sure voters see where Emmer and House Republicans truly stand with the President.
