In a district that President Obama won in both previous elections, the Republican primary field in New York’s 19th congressional isn’t looking promising heading into the general election.
Establishment Republicans are stuck with elevating either “proud” Albany lobbyist John Faso or super-PAC-creator Andrew Heaney.
“Establishment Republicans are stuck with either ‘proud lobbyist’ John Faso or super PAC-creator Andrew Heaney for the general election, both of which are totally out of step with the majority of Hudson Valley voters who voted for President Obama twice,” said Bryan Lesswing at the DCCC.
