The Supreme Court has officially overturned Roe v. Wade, eliminating the constitutional right to abortion for millions of women and paving the way for Republicans to pass a nationwide ban on abortion. It’s a future that Esther Joy King has long worked toward by supporting overturning Roe – and now she will have to own up to her extreme, deeply unpopular positions.
Make no mistake: King is completely out of step with Illinois voters on this issue. She will be held accountable for her party’s role in decimating women’s reproductive freedoms and their plan to institute a nationwide abortion ban – undoing the will of Illinois voters.
