As Mike Fitzpatrick hosts a campaign kickoff fundraiser for his brother’s attempt to replace him in Congress, keep in mind they are both still ducking questions regarding Brian’s potential violation of the Hatch Act. With every major newspaper in the district raising concerns over the potential violation, Brian Fitzpatrick still refuses to answer questions to assuage the concerns of many in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
Since Brian’s spokeswoman took vacation just days before the campaign’s first major kick-off event after refusing to answer questions on when campaign activity began, we have linked a Justice Department Ethics Manual for the Fitzpatrick brothers to get up to speed on the Hatch Act.
“There are just too many questions left unanswered regarding Brian Fitzpatrick’s potential violation of the Hatch Act,” said Jermaine House of the DCCC. “ At some point, he’ll have to stop pretending these reports don’t exist and come clean on any improper actions he may have taken while still employed at the FBI.”
