Jen Kiggans’ extreme anti-abortion endorsers, Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, will be holding a major fundraiser tonight in DC where their agenda to end abortion will be on full display.
Just days before Roe v. Wade was overturned, Jen Kiggans cashed a $2,500 check from Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, a group that pledges to “end abortion by electing national and state leaders.” The group supports a national 6-week abortion ban, and its leadership said that their “perfect abortion bill” would not include exceptions for rape or incest. Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America also opposes many kinds of common birth control, including IUDs and morning-after pills, and they urged lawmakers to vote against the Right to Contraception Act that passed the House in July.
As Kiggans’ anti-abortion backers hold their major fundraising event in DC, Kiggans must answer the following questions:
-
With congressional Republicans introducing a national abortion ban, will Jen Kiggans reject Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America’s endorsement and return their $2,500 check?
-
Did Jen Kiggans commit to supporting an abortion ban in the Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America endorsement questionnaire?
-
Will Jen Kiggans release her endorsement questionnaire for Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, to be fully transparent with Virginians about the anti-choice policies she pledged to support in exchange for their endorsement and campaign cash?
“Days before Roe v. Wade was overturned, Jen Kiggans cashed a check from an extreme anti-abortion group that wants to ‘end abortion’ in America,” said DCCC spokesperson Monica Robinson. “It seems like their investment is paying off.”
