Extremist Sydney Gruters Embraces Endorsement from Scandal-Ridden Jim Jordan

On Friday, Sydney Gruters proudly announced she’s “honored” to have the endorsement of election denier Jim Jordan.

It’s a clear message that Gruters would rather stand with the most extreme and scandal-ridden politicians in Washington than the people of Florida. 

REMINDER: Jordan is best known for helping lead efforts to overturn a free and fair election, supporting cuts to Social Security and Medicare, and being deposed over “allegations that he failed to protect the wrestlers he once coached at Ohio State University from a sexual predator.” 

The case includes how Jordan turned a blind eye to the sexual abuse of student athletes. “Multiple wrestlers and a referee [said] that Jordan was aware of [team doctor Richard] Strauss’ abuse” and even “recounted detailed conversations with Jim Jordan” about the abuse.

DCCC Spokesperson Anna Elsasser: 
“Floridians deserve a representative they can trust, not another extreme, out-of-touch politician who turns a blind eye to lies and gross misconduct in her party. With this lack of judgement, Sydney Gruters is telling voters exactly who she stands with – and it’s not the people of Florida’s 16th District.”
