Today, new reporting in Politico highlighted Pat Ryan’s “withering attack ad” exposing MAGA Republican Alison Esposito for supporting an extreme anti-choice record. The fact check on the ad? True.

Alison Esposito has repeatedly promised to ban abortion from “conception,” answering “yes” on an extreme anti-abortion group’s questionnaire asking if she’d “vote for legislation to protect innocent human life from conception” — an answer she repeatedly reaffirmed.
During her failed campaign for Lieutenant Governor, Esposito pledged to ban abortion in New York. CNN’s KFile team exposed Esposito’s radical anti-choice position as out-of-step with the district she’s now running to represent.
On WAMC’s Congressional Corner in November, Esposito praised the disastrous overturning of Roe v. Wade, saying: “I believe the Supreme Court did the absolute right thing and returned it to the states.”
