While Failing to Denounce Trump’s Actions in Ukraine, Valadao Still Claims: “Any foreign intervention in our elections is completely unacceptable.”
News broke over this last weekend that failed Former Congressman David Valadao took thousands in corrupt campaign contributions from one of the Ukrainian operatives who was arrested last week on charges of funneling foreign cash into key midterm races in 2018. And to this day, Valadao has still not commented on whether he believes Donald Trump’s actions in Ukraine are worthy of an impeachment inquiry.
“If David Valadao truly believes that foreign interventions in American elections is unacceptable, then why has he not spoken out against the President of the United States for abusing the powers of his office and openly soliciting foreign support to alter our elections? The answer is simple, Valadao has vowed complete fealty to Trump,” said DCCC Spokesperson, Andy Orellana.

The men who gave the political contributions, Ukrainian-born Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, are accused of conspiring to “circumvent the federal laws against foreign interference by engaging in a scheme to funnel foreign money to candidates for federal and state office,” according to a four-count indictment in the Southern District of New York.
These operatives funneled hundreds of thousands in foreign contributions into the 2018 midterms — including into Valadao’s own race. But when asked about the contributions Valadao’s camapign claimed to donate the thousands in illicit donations and that: “Any foreign intervention in our elections is completely unacceptable.”
BUT while, Valadao claims that foreign intervention in American elections is “completely unacceptable,” Valadao hasn’t said a PEEP about Trump’s solicitation of foreign intervention in order to benefit his own political ambitions.
Earlier this month, the New York Times reported that former Congressman David Valadao when asked to discuss impeachment: “Mr. Valadao’s campaign didn’t respond to requests for comment.”
