| Millions of Americans are at risk of losing SNAP benefits before the end of the month if Young Kim and Republicans’ government shutdown continues – that includes 5.5 million Californians who will lose CalFresh benefits starting next month.
REMINDER: By rubberstamping the GOP’s Big, Ugly Law, Kim voted to gut food assistance supporting nearly 15,000 households in her district.
DOUBLE REMINDER: Californians are at risk because Kim and House Republicans refuse to come back to work to negotiate an extension of Affordable Care Act tax credits, threatening health care for nearly 1.7 million Californians after already voting for the largest cuts to Medicaid and food assistance in history.
But now, ~suddenly~ Kim is pointing fingers on social media and warning that “seniors, families, and everyday Americans…can’t afford Washington’s dysfunction.”
The hypocrisy couldn’t be louder – or crueler. And Orange County families see right through it.
