Far-right candidate Jesse Jensen launched his second campaign for Washington’s Eighth Congressional District yesterday, and he is already embracing the ‘big lie’ conspiracy theory that the 2020 election was fraudulent.
Jensen told King 5 that “absolutely there was fraud in this election and that should be investigated,” despite not being able to provide any proof, as the outlet pointed out.
“It’s only been one day since Jesse Jensen launched his misguided campaign for congress and he is already embracing baseless conspiracy theories that put our democracy at risk. Washington state families deserve better than a far-right extremist who ignores the truth and peddles dangerous lies,” said DCCC spokesperson Johanna Warshaw.
