In a cynical attempt to distract the public from months of Republican chaos, dysfunction, and infighting, House GOP leadership is poised to schedule a vote to authorize an illegitimate impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden – despite lacking evidence of wrongdoing.
According to Republican David Valadao, he appreciated the House GOP “prioritizing the need for an investigation.”
Extreme conspiracy theorist and Trump loyalist Marjorie Taylor Greene bragged that the impeachment inquiry began without a vote earlier this fall because of her.
Rather than stand up and work for everyday California families, David Valadao has abandoned his district to do Donald Trump’s bidding in the halls of Congress as they prepare to greenlight the inquiry.
DCCC Spokesperson Dan Gottlieb:
“Fearing his far-right primary challenge, Valadao is wasting time and taxpayer money by appeasing Marjorie Taylor Greene and extreme House Republicans – all at the expense of everyday Californians.”
REMINDER: According to new polling, nearly 7 out of 10 voters in battleground districts said Republicans in Congress have prioritized the wrong things.
