FITZPATRICK, MACKENZIE, BRESNAHAN, AND PERRY DID THAT: Pennsylvanians Are Going Uninsured Due to Expiration of ACA Tax Credits

KFF poll finds majority of Americans blame GOP for high costs

Pennsylvania Congressmen Brian Fitzpatrick, Ryan Mackenzie, Rob Bresnahan, and Scott Perry’s failure to extend the ACA tax credits has triggered a sharp rise in premiums, leaving Pennsylvania families with impossible choices. According to new reports, a staggering majority of ACA enrollees are now cutting back on food, utilities, and other essentials just to afford their monthly premiums.

As premiums skyrocket, the number of uninsured Pennsylvanians is climbing, erasing a decade of progress in national health coverage.

For millions of hardworking Pennsylvania families, the choice between a doctor’s visit and a meal is no longer a hypothetical – it is a daily reality.

DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Brian Fitzpatrick, Ryan Mackenzie, Rob Bresnahan, and Scott Perry failed to extend the ACA tax credits and have allowed premiums to skyrocket under their failed leadership. No half measures or empty rhetoric can change that fact. Pennsylvanians will remember in November.”
