Last night, former rising Republican star Rep. Anthony Gonzalez announced his retirement from Congress, calling Trump a “cancer for the country.” Gonzalez further declared the GOP’s move to make “Trump the center” of campaigns was not something he could be a part of.
In New York, Rep. John Katko said Trump shouldn’t be the leader of the Republican Party and was “bad news” for the party.
