Tonight, Donald Trump will be campaigning in Michigan’s 10th congressional district, at a rally for union members at a non-union facility which the UAW is calling “pathetic irony.”

Vulnerable freshman Republican John James — who has already endorsed Donald Trump — will be too busy trying to shut down the government to attend.

Voters deserve to know why James is giddy about a government shutdown and why he endorsed the most anti-worker president in modern American history.

• Do you think Congress should pass your caucus’ proposed budget that will gut Social Security and Medicare?

• Why have you endorsed a presidential candidate who was effectively silent during the last UAW strike and said he would have let the auto companies go bankrupt in 2008?
