After days of chasing headlines to fuel his faux-moderate persona, Don Bacon again flip-flopped and voted to make Elon Musk’s extreme DOGE cuts permanent.
Bacon previously claimed that cutting the anti-HIV program PEPFAR was a “red line” and he would vote against any attempt to defund “George Bush’s Legacy.”
Today, Bacon voted to do just that – abandoning any concerns he was pretending to have about preserving anti-HIV funding and support for national public broadcasting services like PBS and NPR.

“Don Bacon is a fraud. How many times have we seen this same tired act from him? Pretending to have ‘concerns’ then turning around and providing the critical vote for Republican extremism doesn’t make Bacon a moderate – it makes him a liar.” |
