FLIP FLOP: Mark Robertson Desperate to Erase Anti-Abortion Record

Robertson caught scrubbing language off his website in desperate attempt to hide anti-choice agenda

Mark Robertson is finally seeing the writing on the wall. As voters across the country reject Republicans’ crusade against reproductive freedom, Robertson is desperately attempting to erase his own anti-abortion record – and getting called out for it.

Robertson was recently caught scrubbing anti-abortion language off his website in a blatant attempt to re-write his own radical record in a state that voted to protect a woman’s right to an abortion by a two-to-one margin in 1990.

REMINDER: Robertson celebrated the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, paving the way for national Republicans to pass a nationwide ban on abortion that would overturn existing protections in Nevada. He also praised Texas’ draconian six-week abortion ban with no exceptions for rape and incest and said that states like Nevada should “follow suit.” If Robertson has it his way, people could collect bounties for reporting doctors or anyone else who help women get abortions.

No matter how hard Robertson may try and hide, his extreme anti-abortion agenda is a clear danger to Nevada women and their doctors.

DCCC Spokesperson Johanna Warshaw:
“Mark Robertson’s extreme anti-abortion positions are completely out-of-step with Nevadans – and no amount of backtracking will change that. While Congresswoman Dina Titus has always stood up for Nevadans’ reproductive rights, Robertson is laser focused on ripping those rights away.”
