FOLDING FITZ: Brian Fitzpatrick Flees Washington, Leaving Millions in Jeopardy of Losing Health Care

Brian Fitzpatrick and House Republicans left town on Friday with no plans to return to D.C. before October, ditching any plans to address the health care crisis they created. KFF recently found that premiums could soar by more than 75% on average because of Republican’s inaction.
If the ACA Tax credits expire, health care costs could jump and millions could lose care just months after Republicans enacted the largest cut to Medicaid in American history.

New Joint Committee on Taxation data confirms the ACA Tax Credits overwhelmingly help working and middle-class families, with 24 million Americans at risk of seeing health care costs spike if Republicans fail to act.

REMINDER: The last time Brian Fitzpatrick had the chance to prevent Bucks and Montgomery County families from facing higher health care costs… he literally ran away.

DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Brian Fitzpatrick is skipping town while Bucks and Montgomery County families stare down a looming spike in their health care costs. The DCCC will make sure Pennsylvanians know it was Fitzpatrick who had the chance to extend ACA tax credits — and ran away instead.”
