Inflation picked up again last month, with food and groceries being major drivers of the higher prices facing Americans today. Instead of taking action to lower costs for working families, House Republicans decided to start their summer vacation early, leaving the American people to foot the bill for their broken promises.

To help voters see how much the extreme and cruel Republican agenda is costing everyday families across the country, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee created HouseRepublicanPriceHike.com, an interactive tool powered with the latest price data available to show just how much more people are paying for everyday goods since House Republicans have been in the majority.
Ignoring the needs of their constituents back home, House Republicans spent the opening six months of the Trump administration passing the Big, Ugly Law which will raise costs, cut health care, and eliminate food assistance for millions of Americans – all to pay for tax breaks for the wealthy and well-connected. As Donald Trump’s push for sweeping tariffs continues to ripple through the economy, prices are expected to continue to rise, further hurting working families already struggling to get by.
