Four Years After Dobbs, Ann Wagner Is Still Working To Ban Abortion

Four years after the Supreme Court ripped reproductive rights away from millions of women, Ann Wagner has continued the work of further dismantling abortion rights in Congress.

Wagner’s anti-women record is clear: she and House Republicans have continued to pass dangerous, draconian laws that endanger women’s lives and give Republican politicians like themselves power over decisions that belong to Missouri women.

From listening to anti-abortion extremists who bullied House Republicans to oppose extending the ACA tax credits, to voting to jail doctors and nurses who provide reproductive care, Wagner is out of step with the 60 percent of Americans who believe abortion should be legal.

REMINDER – Wagner has a clear track record of opposing women’s health care:

  • Wagner has repeatedly voted against a woman’s right to abortion.
  • Wagner urged the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade.
  • Wagner said that passing anti-abortion legislation is one of her “most precious duties” as a lawmaker.
  • Wagner declared she is fighting “for the day when abortion is not only illegal but unthinkable.”

DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Ann Wagner’s record is clear: she opposes women having the freedom to make their own health care decisions. A reliable vote for draconian laws to control women’s bodies, Wagner has no business representing Missourians. Voters are already angry with Wagner’s unpopular agenda crushing their day to day lives, and they’ll hold her accountable for her anti-choice extremism at the ballot box this November.”
