- Carey voted against the 2022 Women’s Health Protection Act, legislation that would have codified Roe v. Wade.
- Carey voted to jail doctors and nurses who provide reproductive health care.
- Carey voted to defund abortion care for U.S. servicemembers.
- Carey voted for a backdoor effort to pressure states with established legal protections into gradually stripping away abortion rights.
- Carey was endorsed by National Right to Life and received an “A+” rating from radical anti-choice extremist group Susan B. Anthony List, whose goal is to end abortion.
