- Turner voted for a backdoor effort to pressure states with established legal protections into gradually stripping away abortion rights.
- Turner was endorsed by National Right to Life and consistently received A and A+ ratings from radical anti-choice extremist group Susan B. Anthony List, whose goal is to end abortion.
