U.S. Jobless Claims Drop to 269,000, Marking Fourth Straight Week of Pandemic Era Lows
Democrats in Congress are continuing to get American workers back on the job in record numbers thanks to their economic agenda.
Today’s latest jobless claims numbers show that the number of Americans filing for unemployment benefits fell once again to a pandemic low, down 14,000 from the previous week. The number of continuing claims also fell to its lowest level since the pandemic began.
The record-breaking numbers once again ran ahead of expert predictions in just the latest sign that President Biden and Congressional Democrats are leading the way in an historic economic recovery.
Despite every single Republican in Congress voting against it, Democrats’ economic agenda continues to power our economic recovery and deliver real, tangible results.
