| Nearly nine months to go until November, Democrats have taken a commanding – and HISTORIC – lead in the race for control of the House.
A new Fox News poll shows Democrats are up 6 POINTS on the generic congressional ballot – 52% to 46%, including 62% of Independents supporting Democrats. The current 52% support is the HIGHEST recorded for either party in the Fox News poll, a momentous data point considering Democrats won 41 seats in the 2018 midterms.
But wait, there’s more.
Democrats are more trusted to handle affordability (+14 points), helping the middle class (+14 points), and health care (+21 points).
The same poll found Donald Trump is 19 points underwater on the economy, being dragged down by Latino (-26) and Independent voters (-60). 83% of Independents and 68% of voters overall do not think Trump is spending enough time on the economy.
