Vulnerable House Republicans stare down increasingly tough odds
Today, Fox News shifted three highly-competitive House races towards Democrats: CA-45, IA-01, and NE-02.
This is the fourth major shift in Democrats’ favor in two weeks, following shifts from Sabato’s Crystal Ball, Cook Political Report, and Inside Elections, in addition to Republicans dominating the list of Roll Call’s most vulnerable incumbents.
This comes as the DCCC “shellack[ed] the NRCC in fundraising” in August, and as Republicans’ “anemic fundraising” raises “very public alarms” about GOP prospects of holding the House. The bad news for the NRCC just keeps piling on.
