Allan Fung’s GOP backers in Washington continue to stake out far-right positions on the fundamental issues that matter to families in Rhode Island and across the country.
Rep. Steve Scalise, Allan Fung campaign funder and member of House GOP leadership, confirmed today that he will oppose and whip against a bill to strengthen the Electoral Count Act. The ECA is a basic bipartisan proposal to ensure that extremist politicians like Scalise cannot disregard the results of free and fair elections.
Threats to democracy were the most important issue to voters according to a new NBC News poll, with 20% of those surveyed listing it in the top spot.
