Gabe Evans’ Anti-Clean Energy Agenda is Leading to Higher Costs for Colordans

New report shows energy bills have increased 13% in 2025

Coloradans can thank Gabe Evans for higher home energy costs this year.

According to a new report, Evans’ Big, Ugly Bill is “driving up utility costs and destroying jobs by removing cheaper, cleaner energy sources from the grid” – reducing domestic supply at a time when demand is outpacing growth.

You don’t just have to take these experts’ word for it – Evans himself admitted his vote jeopardizes millions in investments and thousands of good-paying jobs in his district. Yikes!

Evans’ disdain for clean energy was also on display earlier this year, when he stayed silent as the administration slashed $33 MILLION in energy project funding meant for his district.

DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Gabe Evans’ anti-clean and anti-American-made energy agenda is leading to higher electricity prices and fewer jobs for Coloradans. If Evans really cared about lowering costs, he would’ve voted against the Big, Ugly Bill and spoken out against the Administration cancelling millions in energy project funding for his district. Coloradans know Evans is nothing more than a Republican Party lapdog who sells out Coloradans at every turn.”
