Gas Prices Are Back Above $4 as House Republicans Support Price-Spiking War in Iran

The price of gas is once again above $4/gal nationwide and House Republicans are all falling in line to fund Trump’s reckless war of choice in the Middle East.

After years of plastering gas pumps with stickers and making fuel prices a central part of their political platform, House Republicans have gone radio silent. Vulnerable GOP incumbents who once railed against rising costs are now dodging questions and dismissing everyday Americans’ financial pain, while they rubber-stamp billion-dollar military spending packages.

DCCC Spokesperson Aidan Johnson:
“Despite the pain American families are feeling at the pump, House Republicans are still rubber stamping Trump’s costly war with Iran. The only thing rising faster than the price of gas right now is the chance that House Republicans will lose their majority in November.”
