This week, the New York Times published a bombshell report that GOP Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy blasted the disgraced former president, calling for his resignation after the storming of the Capitol on January 6th.
George Logan has some questions to answer about his leadership:
-
Does Logan support McCarthy as the leader of the Republican Caucus? In July of last year he told the Hartford Courant he was “leaning” toward supporting McCarthy. How does he feel about that now?
-
Does Logan agree with McCarthy that Trump should have resigned after January 6th?
-
Does Logan believe the former president’s actions were, as McCarthy said in audio, “Unacceptable. Nobody can defend that and nobody should defend it”?
DCCC Spokesman James Singer
“George Logan should be clear with voters where he stands on GOP leadership that cowers to Trump in public as they trash him in private.”
