George Logan’s campaign put out a press release light on specifics but making a brazen claim that he has “strongly and consistently supported women’s rights, including a woman’s right to choose.”
This is a lie.
George Logan appeared with the Connecticut GOP to officially endorse Kevin McCarthy’s “Commitment to America,” a dangerous blueprint to ban abortion nationwide, including in Connecticut. Logan has eagerly accepted the endorsements of and campaigned alongside anti-choice leaders pushing for a national ban in Congress, including McCarthy, Ronna McDaniel, Tom Emmer, and Elise Stefanik. Logan even recently said he supported the overturning of Roe v. Wade, enabling extreme abortion bans – some with no exceptions for rape or incest – in states around the country.
