In the wake of the recent Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade, voters must know just how extreme anti-choice GOP candidate Madison Gesiotto Gilbert is. Gesiotto Gilbert has made her crusade against women’s freedoms clear multiple times in the past year alone.

Gesiotto Gilbert celebrated today’s decision as “one of the greatest legal and moral wins/corrections in the history of the United States.”

Gesiotto Gilbert supported Ohio’s six-week abortion ban that had no exceptions for rape or incest.
Make no mistake: Gesiotto Gilbert and the Republican Party are on the wrong side of this issue. Polling conducted after the leak of the SCOTUS draft opinion overturning Roe shows: by a two-to-one margin, people oppose Roe being overturned; 80% of people believe abortion should be decided between a woman and her doctor; and nearly two-thirds of people oppose the GOP’s plan to institute a nationwide abortion ban.
Gesiotto Gilbert will be held accountable for her support of this recent decision and her party’s plan to institute a dangerous nationwide abortion ban.
