In a shameful display of political cowardice, Mike Lawler has once again caved to Donald Trump and Elon Musk (surprise surprise) — voting YES to codify billions of dollars in dangerous DOGE cuts.
In what has become a painfully clear pattern of showing face as a faux moderate for just long enough, Lawler folded under pressure and voted to rescind billions in previously approved federal funding—cutting critical programming for households across the Hudson Valley, abandoning U.S. allies, and undermining our national security.
