Gillen, Riley, and Mannion Release New TV Ads In Critical New York House Races

Today, DCCC Red to Blue candidates Laura Gillen, Josh Riley, and John Mannion released new TV ads in their respective races to flip critical House seats in New York.

In New York’s Fourth Congressional District, Democratic nominee Laura Gillen released her first TV and digital ad in the general election race, “Generation”, which spotlights the immigrant story of Gillen’s grandfather, who emigrated from Italy and worked on a garbage truck, and Gillen’s service as Town of Hempstead Supervisor just two generations later. Read more from NY1 on Gillen’s ad here.

Generation

In New York’s 19th Congressional District, Democratic nominee Josh Riley released a new ad highlighting Marc Molinaro’s record as an anti-abortion extremist. ‘Facts,’ which is now running on broadcast, cable, streaming, and digital district-wide, exposes 13 votes Molinaro has taken to restrict reproductive freedom for women in New York, and it encourages voters to visit molinarofacts.com to find out the truth about Molinaro’s dangerous record. Read more from NY1 on Riley’s ad here.

The campaign also recently released another new ad, “Not For Sale,” about Riley’s commitment to fighting big monopolies and cutting costs for hard-working New Yorkers.

In New York’s 22nd Congressional District, Democratic nominee John Mannion launched his second television advertisement for the general election campaign, titled ‘Career.’ The ad highlights Senator Mannion’s successful efforts to expand training for jobs and his support for workers and their families. It also features Benjamin, a metalworking apprentice from Liverpool, describing how John Mannion helped him and his family secure a path to a good-paying career.
