Another day, another scandal for the insurrectionists’ favorite “moderate,” Rep. Mike Garcia (CA-25). As the pandemic hit the working families of his district, Greedy Garcia went on a stock market shopping spree while allegedly violating laws meant to protect the public from corruption. Greedy Garcia should be focusing on the issues he was elected to solve, instead of pandemic profiteering and peddling conspiracy theories with his QAnon-obsessed brother.

Today, LA Magazine wrote a shocking exposé on Mike Garcia’s brother Gus Garcia. In their piece, LA Magazine detailed how Mike Garcia’s brother sides with insurrectionists, doxed a Capitol Police Officer, promotes covid conspiracy theories, and believes Trump won the 2020 election. Gus Garcia even gave his brother Mike $3,300 and accompanied him to meet Trump in the Oval Office.

Last Thursday, Business Insider published a list of Republicans in Congress still pushing vaccine misinformation that featured Mike Garcia prominently as the only Republican from a Biden won district.

On July 21st, Punchbowl News called Garcia out for peddling dangerous anti-vaccine rhetoric by responding to one of Biden’s pro-vaccine tweets with: “This is dangerous. At this point, infection & transmission rates are extremely low & virtually all Americans have access to the vaccine. Everyone who wants to be vaccinated can be. We can’t continue to infringe upon people’s Constitutional rights under the guise of public health.”

On July 14th, The American Independent revealed that while Californians were hit by the worst economic crisis in generations, Greedy Garcia was going on a stock market shopping spree trading tens of thousands of dollars in stocks — which he improperly hid from voters until after they cast their ballots. Mike ran and narrowly won his race by touting his “honesty and integrity.” As soon he got in power he worked to enrich himself while hiding his deals from the public.

On July 5th, the LA Times highlighted Mike Garcia’s record of voting against the interests of his constituents while promoting conspiracy theories and pledging allegiance to the far-right. The LA Times explained how Mike Garcia voted to overturn the 2020 election results, against legalizing Dreamers, and against reauthorizing the Violence Against Women Act.
