| With diesel prices at all-time highs, North Carolina gas prices at $4.12 a gallon, and grocery prices rising through the roof, Greg Murphy and Richard Hudson voted to allow Trump’s war in Iran to continue and ignore rising costs. The war has cost taxpayers nearly $40 billion and fueled inflation.
Last night’s vote is the latest indicator of how out of touch Murphy and Hudson are from North Carolinians on an issue that is 20 points underwater.
In ceding all War Powers authority to Trump, Murphy and Hudson are reminding everyday North Carolinians that they don’t work for the hardworking families that they were elected to represent, they just do what their D.C. bosses tell them to.
DCCC Spokesperson Madison Andrus:
“Greg Murphy and Richard Hudson are once again proving that they don’t care about North Carolinians struggling with rising costs. They would rather put Trump’s reckless war in Iran ahead of the needs of everyday North Carolinians. Voters know Murphy and Hudson are responsible for making their lives more expensive, and they’ll vote them out.” |
