GREG MURPHY DID THAT: National Gas Average Rises to $4/Gallon

Greg Murphy continues to recklessly stand behind House Republicans’ agenda, which is rapidly accelerating the affordability crisis in North Carolina.

In North Carolina alone, gas prices are now at $3.90 per gallon, and the national gas average just hit $4 per gallon, the highest since August of 2022.

Gas prices in Raleigh are the highest they have been in more than THREE YEARS…and Greg Murphy has nothing to say about it.
The sharp rise in gas prices comes as everyday Americans are struggling to make ends meet as everything gets more expensive. A recent CBS News YouGov poll found that 53% of Americans say Trump is making people WORSE OFF financially. Even worse: 60% of Independents say Trump’s policies are making them WORSE OFF – up from 38% in October 2024.

DCCC Spokesperson Madison Andrus:
Greg Murphy ran on the promise that he would make life more affordable, but hasn’t done a damn thing to lower prices. This crisis is on extremists like Murphy who has completely refused to stand up for North Carolinians as prices continue to rise.”
