| Happy anniversary, Brian Fitzpatrick!
It’s officially been nine long years since Fitzpatrick last held an in-person town hall.
Fitzpatrick has insulted his own constituents by saying that town halls are designed to “waste people’s time.”
He has the time to attend fundraisers with his party bosses and cash more than a million dollars from his special interest donors, but no time to show up in Bucks and Montgomery County to answer questions from his own constituents.
Now, Fitzpatrick is chickening out on debating his Democratic opponent Bucks County Commissioner Bob Harvie because after nearly a decade in Washington, he knows his record is indefensible.
DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“The last time Brian Fitzpatrick held an in-person town hall, Carson Wentz was the starting quarterback for the Birds, Bryce Harper was on the Washington Nationals, and Despacito was a top charting song. It’s downright pathetic that Fitzpatrick refuses to meet with his constituents face-to-face – and the reason is because he knows he can’t explain his disastrous record.” |
