| JD Vance is coming to Michigan tomorrow to lie about the Big, Ugly Law on Tom Barrett’s behalf – and per usual, Barrett is nowhere to be found.
Barrett refuses to face Michiganders because he can’t defend his support for slashing health care to give tax cuts to billionaires, or backing reckless tariffs that are hurting Michigan farmers and businesses while jacking up costs.
Ahead of Vance’s visit, Barrett owes Michiganders answers:
- Why did you vote to take away health care from nearly 25,000 people in your district?
- Why do you believe that the richest Americans deserve a bigger tax cut than hardworking Michigan families?
- More than 23,000 people in your district are staring down a 61% increase in their health care premiums because you failed to extend ACA tax credits – why are you standing by while their costs go up?
- What do you say to farmers who are raising the alarm bells about tariffs driving up prices and hurting their business?
- Why are you still supporting reckless tariffs that are increasing American factory costs and threatening manufacturing jobs?
