Last week, Congressman Henry Cuellar voted to protect vital programs that working families in Texas’s 28th Congressional district depend on, putting the needs of his constituents above tax cuts for billionaires.
While the House GOP rammed through their bill that would gut Medicaid for over 43,000 TX-28 residents, slash SNAP benefits for nearly 54,000 families in the district, and take money out of farmers’ wallets all to give more money to the wealthiest people in the country, Congressman Cuellar took a stand for his constituents.
