“He’s Brian Poindexter. He’s a Working Man”: Republicans Back Poindexter as Ohioans Sour on Max Miller

OCJ: “Poindexter emphasizes a commitment to strong constituent services when speaking to voters, promising to hold quarterly town halls and establish congressional offices throughout the district.”

Ohioans are fed up with disgraced Republican Max Miller and his disastrous record of raising costs and gutting health care. Now, they’re throwing their support behind union ironworker Brian Poindexter.

One Strongsville Republican “plans to vote entirely Democratic this year,” arguing that Miller is “not what we need to represent our county.”

The Republican mayor of Berea, Cyril Kleem, noted that while he and Brian “don’t always see eye to eye on policy…Poindexter will always hear him out.

REMINDER: All three major race raters shifted OH-07 in Democrats’ favor to “Toss-Up” last month – the latest sign that Ohio families are gearing up to reject Max Miller at the ballot box in November.

DCCC Spokesperson Riya Vashi:
“Even members of Max Miller’s own party don’t think he should be in Congress. Ohio families are tired of being screwed over by Miller’s reckless agenda of ripping away their health care and making their lives more expensive. This November, Ohioans are ready to dump Miller and send Brian Poindexter to Congress.”
